POOL: The meet will be held at Island Park Outdoor Pool, 616 1st Ave S, Fargo, ND. Island Park Pool is an eight (8) lane, 50 meter pool. The pool is 3.5 ft. deep at both ends. Starting For all events will be IN WATER due to depth of the pool.

RULES: The 2010 USA Long Course rules and safety policies adopted by the NDLSC govern this meet. The Whistle Start and No Recall False Start will be used for this meet. This is a timed final meet. There will be no Clerk of Course. Swimmers should appear behind the lanes according to the heat and lane assignments that appear in the program. Swimmers not appearing in their assigned places are scratched from the event. Individual and relay events will be accepted with no times. (NT)Swimmers=names, USA#=s (if applicable), and order of swimmers for relays are to be submitted with entries, but changes and additions can be made with the referee and meet manager 30 minutes before the start of the meet. The referee reserves the right to combine any heats or events. All officials and coaches are required to wear their registration cards to be on deck in accordance with NDLSC Policy. All swimmers must enter the water sliding into the water feet first.
FEES: $3.00 per swimmer for NDLSC fee.

$15.00 per swimmer for pool/electronic timer fee.

$1.50 per swimmer per individual event.

$3.00 per relay team per relay event.

Meet fees are nonrefundable

$15.00 late entry fee will charged for each entry made after the deadline

$25.00 fee for paper entries

ENTRIES: Entries must be recieved by 5:00 PM Sunday, July 11, 2010. Hy-Tek software entries should be submitted on a cd-r or cd-rw or E-Mailed with a hard copy of the entries. Entries will be limited to the first 400 entrants, but the meet managers retain the right to exceed this number. Please enter the individual and relay events as stated in this meet information so it can be read from your diskette. Entry fees must be included with the submission of entry forms and U.S. exchange added. Please mail calculation form (last page) along with check payable to Gators Swim and Dive Team and mail to:

ELIGIBILITY: 2010 registered USA Swimming and CASA swimmers. Age on July 16, 2010 will determine age group for swimmers in individual and relay events.
EVENTS: Swimmers are limited to three (3) individual events and one (1) relay event per day (Friday and Saturday). All events will be preseeded. 8-U relays may be coed or not, and will be swum as one event (i.e. event #1/2).

This will NOT be a split session meet.

SCORING: Individual events: 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1; Relay events: 18-14-12-10-8-6-4-2

All individual events will be seeded and swum together, but will be scored by age groups 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-18. Swimmers 19 and over may compete but will not receive awards or team points. Relays will be seeded and scored by age group. All swimmers must swim in and will be scored in their respective age groups.

AWARDS: High Point – 1st through 5th place for all age groups

Relay ribbons – 1st through 8th place for all age groups

Individual ribbons – 1st through 16th place for all age groups

SCHEDULE: Friday warm-ups are from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. meet starts at 4:15 p.m.

Saturday warm-ups are from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. meet starts at 10:15 a.m.

Note: BOTH DAYS ARE SINGLE SESSIONS

On Saturday there will be a 15 minute break

WARM-UPS: North Dakota Swimming Inc. Warm-up Procedures and Safety Guidelines will be in effect at this meet. Warm-up lanes will be assigned and posted at the pool entrance.

COACHES WILL BE EXPECTED TO SUPERVISE THEIR SWIMMERS DURING ALL WARM-UP AND COMPETITION SESSIONS. There will be a coaches meeting after the relays in the pool office.
CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available near the pool.

OFFICIALS: There will be an officials meeting 20 minutes before the start of each session in the pool office.

Any currently certified USA Swimming officials or apprentices willing to work at this meet, please report to the pool office to sign in prior to the start of the meet. An officials meeting will be held Friday at 3:15 pm and Saturday at 9:15 am. All officials and coaches must wear their current registration cards to be on deck.

CONCESSIONS: Full concessions will be available during this meet. Retail items will also be available for purchase.

ADDITIONAL INDFORMATION: Please note that the Fargo Downtown Street Fair will be going on during the meet but will not be set up south of Main Avenue with the exception of a car show on Saturday. Plan travel to and from accordingly.
